Woow: You look awesome today
From the creative team of Face a’ Face eyewear comes a fun and exciting new brand of eyewear. WOOW Eyewear!
The collection is quirky and trendy with a strong retro/vintage styling and unique in the current marketplace. Off-beat with a “trendy London” feel, the WOOW style will speak to all women and men with a sense of humor.
The frames are characterized by a unicolor front and “sleeved” two-toned temples, the end tip bearing a little “poking” message. The soft, rounded metallic insert, covered by a thin layer of resin, is inspired by the superb keys of old typewriters.

We want to do what we like, say what we like, talk of important things, move away from success and beauty, talk seriously about what is out there, revive long-lost values like freedom. We are free, we denounce everything that makes the world worse, we exalt what makes it great, we grab onto life, we turn it around, we look at it shamelessly and we make it a work of art, we are artists of our own lives, we bestow it with the dance it asks of us. Starting now we are not resigned to reality because that attitude is already part of the past.

Denver – September 27th, 2012
Eyes of the World has announced that it will host an abstract/contemporary art show and benefit at their City Park location on Thursday Sept. 27 from 5-9pm to celebrate the store’s first anniversary. July 2012 marked one year for the City Park location serving the vibrant City Park neighborhood. Eyes Of The World (City Park West) is located at 2036 E. 17th Ave. Denver, CO 80206.
To thank the neighborhood and give back to the community at large, the event will showcase nationally noted artists while raising money for one of our favorite local non-profits.
Artists include the four painters of Denver’s Brushstrokes Studio Gallery: John K. Harrell, Kelly Berger, Kit Hevron Mahoney and Anita Mosher. Sculptor Reven Marie Swanson will also display kinetic media at the event. Wine and refreshments will be served and there is no admission fee for this event.
“We couldn’t be more proud to present local artistic talent while raising money for local non-profits. It’s really important for us to use our standing as providers of professional eye care in Denver to give back to the community and help make it a better place,” said Channing Baird, owner/optometrist.
